20050319 Upper Deschutes River, Thurston County WA

Explored the area near what would become the Deschutes Falls County Park many years later. At this point in time, the park is simply private property, and is not yet acquired by Thurston County. Remains of the old day park were rotting in place, and I found what may have been an artifact up on a bald above the park – a grooved rock in an oak grove.
