20110606 NF Skokomish River Trail, ONP

4:50 PM, 6/6/2011, Mouth of Seven Stream, ONP – Left the trail head at 2:07 PM, arriving here at 4:20 PM. Immediately got settled in at the mouth of the gorge to take a few photos.  Is breezy here, temps in the 70s, a gorgeous day. The stream is very high, thigh- to waist-deep and powerfully swift, making a crossing out of the question today. There is a tree across the gorge, but I’m just barely not stupid enough to do that.
