20111008 & 20111023 Big Creek & Skyline Trails, ONP

From my trail journal: “2:00 PM, 10/23/2011, sunny, mid-60s, a meadow high above Elip Creek on Tshletshy Ridge – Left the trail head at 9:00 AM sharp, arrived at Three Lakes at 1:00 PM. Another hour up brought me here, to a colorful knoll, caressed by a soft breeze in the autumn sun. It’s just me, the huckleberries, and the rush of falling water.”
