Mike and I stayed rather local this day, venturing no further than Dupont, WA, to explore the Hoffman Hill trail above the Nisqually River. There wasn’t a lot to see, but I found my eye drawn to the smaller perspectives. We finished the Hoffman Hill trail, then continued with an exploration of the Edmond Marsh trail. While I didn’t get a shot of her, we saw a coyote resting in the grass near the oak tree shown below, where we also found an incredible number and variety of small birds.
