Hiked up the 'sekrit' canyon trail, that is, up the Muddy Fork Cowlitz River Canyon, to the top of the gorge. This time, I made my way *under* the massive logjam down to the very bank of the river. Further travel upstream to the flat was blocked by another log jam, and the towering cliff above. I filtered some water there, and found my way back. If I want onto that flat, I'll have to cross the mudslide zone above, or cross the logjam at the top of the gorge.
