Parked at the White River Campground, set out at 9:30 AM and covered 14.4 miles with 3423′ vertical gain over 5:51:26 elapsed/8:23:43 total hours, attained a maximum elevation of 7006′. Despite all the lingering snow, it was very dry up there; I was quite thirsty much of the time. I also took on just a little bit of a tan. For all the people I saw up there, I could’ve hiked naked, and avoided the tan lines. Joke. That is a joke, people. Geez.
